  • Nursery's Getting Ready To Learn Project

    Published 04/03/25

    'Getting Ready to Learn Project'

The nursery has been taking part in the project 'Getting Ready to Learn'. We have already hosted a stay and play event for the Ages and Stages element of the project and on 25th February, we invited our parents to visit again for our Big Bedtime Read.

The Big Bedtime Read is a lovely opportunity for parents and children to have a relaxing and fun experience together and share learning about bedtime routines, including a focus on spending time together and reading each night. The event has two elements, one of a relaxation and mindfulness session with Leanne from Mind Explorers and another of listening to stories, songs and reading together.

We welcomed so many families and it was wonderful to see the nursery so full of people enjoying the company of their children and engaging with our activities. Thank you to everyone for making it so special.

  • Nursery Closure

    Published 26/02/25

We are very sorry for the inconvenience but we will need to close for just over a week, beginning on Monday 3rd March, with us reopening on Tuesday 11th. This will be to accommodate a full heating refit. The full work will take 2 weeks but we have been assured that the classrooms will be prioritised and in the second week, work will be going on in other areas in the building. This will mean that there should be no further issues with our heat and that there will be no further closures due to heating systems.
